SO AMAZING

I had Melinda make a cake for Kirby for his birthday, I know dragging it out a little, but it was the perfect time. Saturday was "Fight Night" UFC night so I had her make this awesome cake! It is so crazy how exact the font for the logo is, I was so excited to give it to him! So you have to check her blog out she does awesome work and is very reasonable! Thanks Melinda, you did such an amazing job!

Star of the week!

Last week Davis was STAR OF THE WEEK! On Tuesday he brought his poster that he had colored, along with a show and tell item. So all day Monday I told him to think about what he wanted to bring to show, he never would say anything. That night when we were getting ready for bed, I asked him if he had decided, "YEP" He says, "What" I say! "A picture of Dez and my dream catcher!" "really" I say. "YEP" was his answer. So for the next 15 minutes I sit there trying to talk him out of the picture of Dez. I really didn't want him to be Debbie Downer. Plus he still tears up when he talks about her. He insists that these are the things he wants to bring. I agree, put him to bed, go find a picture of cute DEZ, and put it in a frame. So when I pick him up from school I ask the teacher how it went she said he was so cute. Mrs. Woodhouse pulls out the picture and very excitedly asks"Is this your dog?" Davis replies" Ya but SHE'S DEAD!" Oh SNAP is what I am thinking at that point. She then tells me how he comforts her by telling her"It's okay she is up in Heaven playing with her friends!" I told him before class that he couldn't cry and to not make everyone sad about Dez, and he said okay, I guess that he listened. Heaven always makes people feel better right?

Roz is going to be in town on November 6th and is taking appointments for eyelash extensions. They are so awesome, I have had mine filled 3 times, and I love them! No mascara, all I do is put it on my bottom lashes. I absolutely love them. She only charges $40.00 for a set compared to the $120.00 you will find if you call any where else. She does a great job and already has a huge client list up North and she is still in school! Call me if you want a appointment, the first set takes 2 hours, so don't take too long to decide they will fill up fast!!!

That is right my husband hit the big 3-0 yesterday. I can hardly believe it, we were 20 and 23 when we got married and the time sure has flown by. Here are a few pics to take us down memory lane!

Yesterday was his birthday and I really did try to blog about it, but the day ended too soon. So I had this plan all along that I was going to paint HB on a tarp and hang it off the mill, but we were out of town until Sunday night and I ran out of time. So I decided to make signs and hang them around town. I was really proud of myself, because he was so shocked and embarrassed. I hung a poster board that said Happy Birthday Kirby by the road and then we decorated his pick up. He said he was shocked and had no clue that I would even do something like this. HA HA!

And finally here we are today and I have to say we still look HOT! and we have 2 PERFECT KIDS. Kirby, you are a great dad, hard worker, and you are as much fun now as back then. I hope that you had a good birthday, we had fun preparing for it!

Can Hardly Wait

My aunt just did our photos last night in Hyrum, and I am so excited. I have not been a client at a shoot in a long time! Here are a few we played with last night. I wish that I didn't have any responsibilities, so I could just play with my NEW FAMILY PICTURES all day, but sadly I have to turn others pics into masterpieces before mine!

Loving taking pictures again...

So about a month ago, I got a little over-whelmed and lost the love that I usually have for photography. I am starting to get my groove back. It all started about a couple weekends ago, I love easy shoots, good kids, good coloring, photogenic people. What photographer doesn't? So I want to say thank you to all of you that made my life so happy! You, your kids, everything about it was GREAT!!!! Here is a teaser for some of you, there are so many great ones to go through that I am working my butt off to get them to you, so you can be as happy as ME!

FLUSH THE TOILET!!!!

I never thought in a million years that I wished I would have checked into the automatic toilets when I was building. Seriously, all I do all day is flush toilets. Seriously and I am not kidding, I have 3 boys and one flusher me! Just had to vent because I swear maybe they are trying to conserve water, but we have indoor plumbing for a reason so USE IT!!! I mean I would have kept the Porta-John out front if I would have known their habits!

P.S. I found this picture on the Internet, and no kidding it looks just like Kirby's hand maybe he is doing a little hand modeling on the side!

The other day I was playing around with my new camera, and my lighting. So I had the boys come sit in there. (of course my kids are missing their clothes). So I take this group shot, then Brayden goes over and sits in my car. I think oh awesome, I will just get a picture of him looking so cute. Well, this is what I got and I tried to get him to smile and that just made things worse and then out of no where, RED comes flying at my head! Poor kid it was all he could do to defend himself from my persistent "Brayden smile" So by the look on his cute little face I guess I answered my own question, "Yes, I am really that bad!"

I know the concert was like 2 weeks ago, but I have been busy I promise. I loved this and totally recommend it to anyone that falls in love with the show next year. Seriously to see them in person is so amazing. I will say that I did LOVE I mean LOVE the bed dance in person HOT! but to see Josh and Twitch do the Russian dance and see how high Josh really can jump was amazing!!! So here are a few pics.

I am sure that all of you remember the show Tool Time and how Tim always had to make simple things more powerful??? Well, I am afraid that I might have a Tim Taylor on my hands. The other night we were making apple pie filling to freeze, and the apple peeler just wasn't cutting it for Kirby next this I know, he has his vise grips and power drill! YIKES, this can't be good. Here is the out come you can see from the pictures that he was ripping through those apples, and we were peeled and sliced in no time!

What the Enterprise???

WARNING YOU MAY WET YOUR PANTS A LITTLE!!

So I am a little hacked off that no one bothered to warn me that I might see this...

when we moved to Enterprise! These are a few pictures that Davis took of the big nasty Tarantula that we saw. He is going to pick one for his Reflections entry. I did not take these. He has a knack doesn't he, I wonder where he got it from...! All I did was change the coloring, I am sure I can't do it for his actual entry, but it made it stand out more! I really didn't get that close, I made him put on my long 70-300 lens so we could stand back farther! Man it gives me the creeps just looking at them!
