Prom Tag

My friend Karisti did this tag and I thought that it was a riot. I can't believe that I look so little. I remember high school and college like they just happened. The only problem is that they happened almost 8 years ago. SAD! I am getting so old!!

This is my first formal dance, Homecoming Jr. Year
Date: Nick Bauer (were we dating then? maybe starting out)
Day Activity: Circus and lunch at Hires
Dinner: Baci's (Spelling?)

Christmas Dance Jr Year
Erin and Derek, Jeremy and Amberleigh, Kelly and Josie,
Nick and I, Nick and Becka
Girls Choice, we went ice skating for our day activity, it was so much fun. I remember that Kelly had a hurt ankle so he and Josie sat and watched us ice skate. How boring for them. I think that they left early cause it was snowing, but I am pretty sure it was to make-out! (kidding Josie)

Amberleigh and Jeremy, Erin and Derek, Me and Jordan,
Rachel and ?, ? and Rachel, Josh and Krystal,
Becka and Nick
I was challenging one of the hooter girls
to a hula hoop contest
Jordan and Josh thought they were in Heaven
Sadie Hawkins
I had to put this on, because I think that it was one of the most fun that I have had on a casual date. I asked Jordan Hunger, he is a great friend. We were the coolest dates ever, because we took our dates to Hooters for dinner. Now what high school kid wouldn't want to go there. It was so fun.

Jr Prom
Date: Matt Case
We had fun this date, I can't remember if we had a day activity, but we ate dinner at Tuscany, it was so good. I am not quite sure if this is a dress that I love. I remember that I couldn't find one that I loved. (Go figure, your mom owns and prom dress store and you can't find a dress that you like!)

Homecoming Senior Year
Date: Joe Murray
We went and had a picnic at the Capital and then we were going to go bungee jumping, but Joe drank too many squeeze it drinks and got sick so we came home. We ate dinner at a restaurant in Ogden, but I can't remember the name. It was a lot of fun. I think that this was one of my favorite dresses. I picked it out in Dallas and I still love it.

Sweethearts dance in Logan.
We crashed the Mtn. Crest dance. This was so much fun, because Joe and Nick were leaving on their missions pretty soon, so we all went and got dresses from my mom and just had a blast. I think that that is the best way to go to a dance. Everyone had no clue who we were. We sang loud to all the songs and acted like our stupid selfs and we didn't care. I loved it!

This was another great dress. This is Becka and I at La Caille (?) We had a girls night out and it was so much fun. We got all dressed up and ate dessert there. When we were done, we raced to Wendy's and ate tons, then went to a hotel and had a giant sleep over! I need another one of those.

Awe how sweet!
Ya I wore sweats and tennis shoes, give me a break there was
like 4 feet of snow at the Bountiful temple, and it was Jan. 3

I wasn't mad that day, maybe my eyes finally froze that way.
(my parents used to tell me that)
I have to say that this was my favorite dress of all. ( Actually if it was strapless, and more fitted with a celery green sash around the middle, then it would be perfect.) I guess that you can't have that kind of a dress and enjoy the blessings of the temple. So I am over it. Kirby was and still is my date for this dance, and now I have two little rugrats that keep me on my toes!
Love you guys!!

I tag everyone that wants to take a trip down memory lane, it was pretty fun, I think that I will post more memories

Long time no stalk

Sorry, I have had a little electronic dificulties. I didn't have a computer for a whole week. I thought that I was going to die. No Internet, No Blogging, NO PICTURE EDITING. Needless to say after many attempts to fix the old one by Duke, we had to break down and buy a new one. Kirby is still having buyers remorse, but he has that just buying groceries, so I am not too worried. Anyways so I am back, and I can't wait to tell you about our trip up North!

Discovery Gateway

I recommend this place to everyone, especially right now. I would definitely make the trip again. The Elmo Exhibit is the best, but it only runs through the 2ND week of May. My kids learned more by pushing the poo button in grouch land than any baby Einstein movie! It is really great

What a fun Day!

This is the regular part of the museum. They have a little town that the kids can run. A construction area, a farm, a store, a grocery store, the water area, and the ball play area. SO FUN!

This is the Sesame Street Exhibit that was the real thing. You walk down Sesame Street, Mr Hooper's store, Elmo's world. I loved it!

In this area they had a giant tube that had air running up it and you could make parachutes, airplanes, anything that could fly and send it up the tube. Davis just found a coffee filter on the ground and it flew to the top every time. See if Tandy, Karisti, or my mom recognizes anyone in this picture. It's Dr. Lunt he was there with his family. I didn't say anything, I didn't want to look stupid. Hey, you delivered both of these kids, but we kept making that awkward eye contact. I'll just wait till I get pregnant again, and then when I need something to talk about during those awkward times, I'll have something. We ended the day with a ride on trax up to the U and then lunch at the Training Table. The boys loved it. My dad drove up there in the car to pick us up and the train passed him, the boys got a kick out of racing him!

New Hair

My brother and the boys think that I look like Roz now. I am trying, now I just need the BODY! But that takes work, so we'll see!

Picture time

I am opening my studio in the next few weeks, so I thought that I would take the opprtunity to take a few pictures while I was up here with all of my backdrops and lights. When you are working with children that have had too many pictures taken of them I was happy that I even got these.

Too Much Fun!

I was blogging our sledding entry when I heard snoring. I looked over and Ky was passed out under this bear! It cracks me up how kids go until they can't go anymore and just drop!

Davis' week at Grandma and Grandpa's without mom!

Day of Sledding! (actually an hour)

Sledding

We went sledding today! We had a lot of fun, I think that the boys had a blast. The first trip down the hill Ky and I biffed it and I slid over the top of him, but he kept sledding.

Davis had a great time going down the hill, he went farther everytime.

Late Valentine Tag.

What is your husband’s name?Kirby Bracken
How long have you been together? 6 Years
How long did you date?10 months.
Who eats more?We both eat the same, I know that sounds like I am a cow, but remeber that Kirby was fat once, so he watches what he eats.
Who said I love you first?I think we both said it, I really can't remember.
Who is taller? Kirby, maybe by an inch, but only if I am not wearing shoes.
Who has more speeding tickets? We both have clean driving records right now.
Who is smarter? KIRBY, but I like to challange him on a few things.
Who is more sensitive? I am, but I have seen him get choked up a few times, like when our dog died. He pretended he didn't like her.
Who does the dishes? I do, but If I slack a little and it gets too gross for Kirby, he will. So I like to slack a lot.
Who sleeps on the right?I sleep on the right side of the bed.
Who pays the bills? I write out the checks, but I don't make the money!!
Who mows the lawn? ME! The kid can't drive a straight line.
Who cooks dinner? I try, but Kirby steps in.
Who drives when you are together?Either one of us it really doesn't matter. If we are up North then I drive, because I forget to tell Kirby when to turn until right before, so he just gets in the passenger seat from now on.
Who is more stubborn? Let's just say I am not the first to say sorry!
Who kissed whom first? We didn't have a first kiss, we had a first make-out session! Ya baby! I invited him over for it, so I guess you could say I started it.
Who asked who out first? Like I said, I invited him over for the booty call, so I guess if you consider that a date, then I did.
Who proposed?Kirby, he told me that he wanted to wait until May to talk aboput getting amrried, because he was going to go to school in Phoenix. I was really mad, and I said well, I am not going to follow you to phoenix as your girlfriend. He was just trying to get me off the scent, because he proposed that weekend, after my soccer game.
Who has more siblings? Kirby, beat me by one!

Simpsonized

Here is my brother trying to convert Krusty the Clown.
I decided to play around. I made us all characters in the Simpsons Cartoon.

Another pic

Lightning McQueen Recall!!!

I thought that I would get your attention with that title. Kyron threw a Lightning McQueen at Davis today and cut his eyebrow. DRAMA!!! Actually I thought it might need stitches, but we put a butterfly on it, so he might have a scar. He was dramatic, but crying more over the fact that Broc was leaving, than the cut.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OBlgSz8sSM
Davis and I were watching Ellen DeGenerous the other day and she had this web video on her show. I thought we were going to die laughing. I am pretty sure that after that had happened to one of my kids the wouldn't just be sitting there saying that hurt. I am afraid a fight would break out.
Enjoy!

Video for Mcquivey kids

This is a baby calf that was born last night. I think that kirby pulled it around 4:00 this morning. We made this movie, because pictures just don't do it justice. It was walking aroung and coming up to us like a dog. She was so cute! The boys loved her, expecially when she was peeing, Ky was frozen for some reason.

This was while we were buliding. I hope that this is not a sign showing me that Davis is athletically challanged! ENJOY P.S. He thinks that this is the most hillarious movie!

Digital Scrapbooking

I decided to try a little digital scrapbooking. I am not quite sure that I am sold on it. I already spend enough time on the computer. I found some websites that gave out some free paper and embellishments. I just googled free digital scrapbooking. Then I just did it in my adobe. You could probably find a version that you could download. Try it! It was fun, and in the end might actually save money, because you can use the samre paper over and over, not to mention share what we download. And the best part is that I won't have to look at the piles of pictures that haunt me. They will just be hiding in a folder on the computer!

SNOW DAY

Well, I think that it finally snowed enough that I think the boys could play outside with out bringing 4 tons of mud back in with them. I am not quite sure how much it snowed, but I know that I am sore from shoveling. Davis thinks that it's Christmas everytime it snows and wants to know when Santa will be here! Also here is a family picture that I did for the Terry Family. They wanted me to add Tyrell's picture to the clouds. The only problem, their were no clouds so I added them and then Tyrell, I thought that it turned out. Plus, it was a lot of fun. When Anita came to pick them up I showed her how it turned out and Davis came in and he says to here. That boy is up in heaven, I bet he's playing with my dog! She was really cute about it, but I was so embaressed.
