WOW

I have become the biggest slacker when it comes to blogging. I have not been able for the life of me get myself to do this. Well everyone I have done it I caught up and I am not sure any of it is interesting to any of you, but that has been our lives for the last 5 or so weeks. I am excited to go to the doctor this Wed. time is offically flying by. Davis' last day of school in May 14 and I know after that it will be July and I will have 3 kids before I know it. We have been trying to get the nursery set up and get all the odds and ends that need to be organized and put away before my routine with 3 children becomes crazy! So I will try to stay on top of this blogging, but I walking up and down the stairs is not that fun to me anymore, so I tend to use the upstairs computer a little more. So the pictures and blogging gets put on hold! So thanks for your patience, and hopefully I will see you soon!

CUBS vs. DODGERS!

GAME 2

This was a cold one and a fun one to watch. Davis played against his two cousins Ryland and Bracken. It was a lot of fun to watch them improve from the first week. I am proud of them, it was cold and windy, but they really did great!

SCORE!

Well we have great neighbors and they have decided to re-do their gravel in front of their house. They were so very kind to offer their old stuff to us. :) So as Kirby began to make the giant mound the boys got out their snow sleds and began to surf down the hill. Talk about entertainment. They did this for at least an hour before I made them come in for the night. Needless to say they were out there the next day doing it again over and over! Crazies!!!

Batter Up!

This was the first game of the season and I have to say that Davis did really good. He has a pretty natural talent for most sports, it is just getting him to pay attention that is the hard part. He really wanted to be a part of every play the first inning, but grasped that concept by the second inning. I was very proud of him and I thin he is so cute in his uniform.

GOOOO CUBS!

Happy Easter!

We had a very low key Easter this year and it was a lot of fun. Friday night we had a cook out down at the farm with yummy food and a huge fire. We wrapped up the party with our teenagerebels coming out in all of us with a little coal hot potato game, a little fire jumping and yes this was all while our children watched. Well I guess they will probably do it too someday, they might as well see the masters do it first! Saturday we headed up to the reservoir with Jed and Karisti to have a picnic. It was extremely cold. That really didn't bother the boys too much, the ran and played all over the rocks as I froze my bum off! Sunday was a great day, it was so warm and my two little handsome boys looked great in their new church clothes. (thanks Grandma Kunz) After church the Easter bunny visited our house and left the boys plenty of candy and some air pellet guns. These are their favorite things still. They really have had a great time with them and have obeyed all the rules we instructed. we had a great time this year!

Ear Candling

I went up to my parents house for conference because it was my mom's spring break also. During the second session of conference we did a little ear candling. The boys thought it was the neatest thing. Davis kept asking me to talk to him in a softer voice just to see if he could hear better. Davis had quite a bit of was that came out and sweet Ky, well he was so into the spa moment he fell asleep on the first ear and slept through the second one. It is really cool, and even though my husband still thinks it might be a hoax, I think he was a little impressed with what came out of his ears!

State Wrestling

We were pretty excited about the state wrestling tournament, my mom and dad decided to make the trip down to see Davis. He was so excited, unfortunately the excitement seemed to wear off pretty fast. He was totally pumped for his first match and did really well, pinning the kid in the second round. His second match was a different story he was all smiles and was just out there to play. He ended up losing that one by points. After waiting for at leas 1.5 hours and having them move us from mat to mat, he finally wrestled his 3rd and unfortunately final match. He did really good starting off, but the other kid kept choking Davis and then getting points. So by the end the poor Davis was frustrated and really upset. as the tears started to well up in his eyes we walked to the car where Grandpa Kunz had a cheeseburger waiting there for him. You would have thought he was the STATE CHAMPION. He was so excited, and we were so proud of him. He did awesome the entire season, never got pinned once and has some real potential at becoming a great wrestler!

Great job Davis!!!
