Tucson Arizona

WE HAD A BLAST!!!

I have to say that this was the most relaxing vacation that I have had in a long time.
We didn't have to do anything, but lay by the pool, swim, and shop! IT WAS AWESOME! We laughed so much, made WW bracelets, and spent a lot of money, and acted like crazies
This is us in Scottsdale/Phoenix area before heading to Tucson
I thought it would be funny to find the Phoenix mission office and take a picture in front of the door to send to my brother. When we finally found it I walked up to stand in front of the door, and saw someone inside. I screamed and ran back to the car, then we heard someone pounding on the door and my brothers head popped out! It was pretty funny, they had run over to the mission office with the AP's to make a few transfer adjustment, and it was the right place at the right time.
Here is the strange but hilarious to us stuff we did through out the week!

week at grandpa and grandma's

While I was in Tucson, my mom watched the boys and entertained them too much. I say that becasue now they are going to think that is what is supposed to happen, and expect me to actually interact with them!! HA HA.
Fun at the house
Being crazy at the park
Swimming in the backyard
Dinosaur Park

My little weight watcher...

Well, I just have to say that I might be a little more obsessed with calorie counting than I realize. This morning Kirby was making pancakes for the boys, and I asked him what he had eaten, because he wasn't eating. Kirby said I ate come cookies for breakfast.. and without a beat Davis says... "Hundreds of calories!" I thought that I was going to die. So After church he wanted a cookie and I gave him one, and he asks me " Are these 100 calories?" It cracks me up how much they take in from our conversations

SCREWED

Seriously, I have had the day that makes you want to just lay down and hide! Between my kids, my photo business, and life in general today, I think I deserve a little peace and quiet!

First... my kids act like they have peanut butter in their ears. I just give them the look and they go to their time out spot all by themselves. They must know that the hay season has officially started, and the have only one parent to deal with!

Second... I am not sure if I just appear unprofessional, or if I am too nice, but today was the day that I made more decisions about what not to do with my photo business. I feel like I go out of my way to get people's stuff to them in a timely manner, and make them feel like if there is anything unsatisfactory them can call me. Maybe I just need to be down right mean! Seriously, I was fuming! (Karisti is nodding her head, she had to hear about it) I won't go into details, but I felt exactly like this guy!!!

Anyway tomorrow is another day! and I am leaving for a week, thanks to my mom and Kirby!

On Sunday at exactly 10:00 I am driving to the airport to catch my 12:15 flight to Arizona for a week with my Aunt, and Roz. My husband is so nice because he is allowing me spend the money to get there, and my mom, is amazing, because she is staying home to watch my kids! I feel bad, but after today I might not come back and she can just put the kids on the bus and send them back to Enterprise! The reason we are going is Alana has a conference there, and the hotel is free, the rental car is free, and so is a lot of the food. So I couldn't pass this up!

Here is where we are staying...

I will be getting tan here...

When I come back I better look like this!

Well, maybe not that tan! (she could be a wallet!)

PEaCe ouT!

Weight loss tricks!

So my aunt Alana told me about this website that tells you points for the different restaurants. I was really excited, because that is what we are trying to do is weight watchers. So click here and it will take you to this site. I was so excited, because you can still eat out, and don't have to eat a salad every time!

Thank you Dotti, I am glad that you took the time to do this, so I can abuse it!

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW...

NO!!!!
Yeah that's right, I am not sure what happened, but Monday pretty much sucked! The day starts off great! Lost 4.4 pounds at our group weigh in, then sat out side to get some sun. Around 3:00 BAM no cell phone service, and NO INTERNET! No blog stalking what is a girl to do??? Seriously, what am I to do! So I am no sitting at my computer at 1:30 AM because I have been waiting all night for the Internet to start working again so I could send a huge order to my printer, crossing my fingers I can get it back in time before I leave on Saturday. I thought that I would blog about this as I am uploading pictures to the e-mail. At least my kids are asleep, that really helps. I will continue to sit here for another 30 mins while this goes through, so in parting I have 2 things to say...

BOOO to the person that dug up the Internet cable that made me realize how addicted I am to this machine, and made me lose valuable sleep

Can you hear me now is a bunch of crap!!! Seriously, I felt so disconnected from the 21 century. I mean, I actually had to use a LAND LINE (ewe) to call anyone!

70% done!

My husband picked up the trencher in St. George at 8:00 and drove home. Started trenching at 9:00 and we were on our way to St. George at 10:30 to return it. After we got home around 2:00, I helped shoveled out the extra dirt and we started laying the pipe. At the end of the day we were glueing the sprinkler heads on. I was pretty impressed with my little farmer. So we will finished the rest on Monday, then I and going to rake my guts out to get it level, and then we will be ready to plant. I am leaving town this next Saturday with the boys for 2 weeks, so I told him to plant the grass, so it can get a good start while the boys are away! (The little demolition partners won't walk all over it.)
Maybe I will see little green sprouts in a few weeks.

Cooper's Birthday!

Well, Cooper had his birthday party on Friday, and the kids had a blast. His Grandma has this slide, so they played on it forever until they got to cold then it was off to the swing set. They were back to the slide a few more times before cake and ice cream. So much fun!

My Crazy Ky

Let me just explain a few things about my little two year olds palate. the kids is not normal... He loves... Raisin Bran, Salad, Pea pods, black bean soup, bologna and peanut butter sandwiches, cottage cheese and tomatoes, I know there are some other strange thing. I am glad that he likes these foods, because at least I know that he is getting a variety in his diet.

BREAKING NEWS...

This is unbelievable. At the request of my 2 year old I have just made my first bologna and peanut butter sandwich. Yes, you heard me right. I told him that those two things don't go well together and he said "yes they do, ask daddy?" So that is what I did. Thinking that my husband would back me on this one, I hear hi say to Ky "try it!" Gag me. So I made it he ate it and wanted another one. I guess he just wanted so extra protein today!

Alright, my mom has been at my grandpa's all week scanning in slides. She sent me this one, and I thought that Ky might look like me a little. What do you guys think?
Maybe not. I am not sure, I think that Davis and I are a little closer pair. In this picture Ky's eyes are kind of like mine!

Could I have it any better???

I know that I have said before that I have a great husband, but let me brag a little more. We have been working to try to get the sprinkling system in before first crop, but don't think that is going to happen. Kirby says its because I keep changing my mind :). I want it to be right. So last night I went for a walk, and he watched the kids, and laid out the string for the main lines. He informed me that he is renting the trencher on Saturday. They start cutting hay on Monday, but I bet that by the next Saturday it will be done. He is such a HARD WORKER. Seriously, I can't believe he doesn't get burned out. I get bored cleaning the house. I guess that's why I married him! Then you thought he couldn't top that... This is what I woke up to this morning. Yep that's right he cleaned the kitchen before he went to work, because he knew I had people coming over for pictures. So I got to sleep for a extra 30 mins. He is actually pretty smart, because I am much happier with my sleep!

Dirt

So a few Saturdays back, we worked in the yard all day, and I believe the wind blew all day. Not like that is surprising anymore. Anyways, the boys were so cute, they didn't want to do anything that day but drive their trucks all over the yard. So this was them at the end of the night. Yes the dirt was everywhere from the shoes to the ears, I think that Ky even had some in his underwear. It was messy, I had to scrub the bath tub after that wash down!

Warning...

Viewer discretion is advised!

Let the weigh in begin. Monday, Karisti, Michelle and I weighed in on our weight loss journey. Yes, we weighed in together, in front of each other. So I took a before picture of my self, and I am sorry, but it is true, so hopefully, I will look better in a bikini by August than I do now!

I didn't want to offend any one with my previous pic, what if the sister of one of those girls stalked my blog. For those of you that had the privilege of viewing it before the change, may it empower you. For the rest of you... you've probably already seen it, but if you are wondering click here

So I stole this off of Karisti's blog, and at least I'm not overweight and hairy!!!
