I previously posted a little a about our trip to Winnemucca, Nevada. Kirby's sister Julie lives there for about one more month then they are moving back to Utah! So we decide to make the trip out there for Thanksgiving. We left Tuesday night after work and headed to his other sisters hour by Ely to spend the night. The next morning we got up nice and early to take pictures then we went to see these gigantic pigs!
Davis wasn't too impressed with the smell, and there was pig pee that you had to watch out for, but hey who can say they see pigs this size everyday!
After seeing the pigs we got on the road, after a 4 hour drive we entered Winnemucca, and arrived at Julies!
One of the nights there Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to see Bolt. It is such a cute movie all the girls watched Bolt with the kids and the boys went to the James Bond movie. I think they would have enjoyed Bolt a little more. All that night the kids played Bolt, crawling around on the floor it was cute!
We also went Bowling and this is the problem with taking so long to blog, you can't really remember what days you did what! But hey at least they are getting posted!
This was the boys first time and they loved it! Here is Davis showing us his skills!
Ky thought that every turn should be his turn and was crying most of the time during everyone elses turn!
We left Saturday morning around 9:00 to head back, we thought that if we had enough time we would stop at Lehman Caves to show the boys. Well, it was alot out of the way. The boys thought the caves were cool, but Kyron wanted to touch everything! (and you are not supposed to) Hopefully there isn't too much damage in 100,000 years! Davis loved it but thought we would have gone on the longer tour. I was trying not to throw up the whole time.
After the caves we headed home, but since we had went a different route we had to wind our way through all these small downs and we finally ended up in Cedar. By that time if I didn't eat I was going to die! We stopped at Wendy's and headed home after that! So by the end of our trip, the Six hour drive home turned into a 10 hour drive, and I am pretty sure we won't be doing any more caves for a while, and Julie we are so glad you guys are moving back. I won't be making that drive for a very long time.
