I want to barf my brains out...

With Davis I was barfing non stop 4-5 times a day until I hit the 4 month mark. Then with Kyron I had a 1 year old to take care of, so I really don't remember being that sick. So I was feeling awesome, just really tired and I was thinking this pregnancy is great. WELL, I was WRONG! Starting last Friday I started to get sick, and I haven't stopped. The puking hasn't started, and I am not sure if I want it to, cause I am afraid it will open the flood gates. The doctor told me to take B6 with a 1/2 a unisom at night and that should help till I can get some food in me, but I have tried to eat so many things already and not much sounds good. Since I feel a little out of touch, (it has been 3 years) I would love any advice! To help me be able to function a little easier!

I am sooo sorry! I totally feel for you! The only thing I can tell you is to eat a tiny bit at a time and stay hydrated. I have so been there and can say that as long as I had just a tiny bit in my stomach it helped. I wish you luck girl and if you need anything let me know.

This is the part that sucks! I finally got past it but I thought I was going to die before I did! The things that helped me is I ate as soon as I could in the morning whether I threw up or not. If I ate right after I threw up I felt better and also sometimes if I ate before I got out of bed I wouldn't throw up that day. Too warm of a shower doesn't help with the nausea and I found that if I ate little things all day I did a lot better and could handle the nausea. If I let my stomach get the least bit empty I would barf and then I was so sick the rest of the day, but I had to force myself to eat. Nothing sounded or tasted good. I also sucked on lemon heads and ate saltines. Sometimes water was even hard to get down so squeeze some lemon in it. Thats about all the advice I have. Good luck!

Ohh do I ever feel your pain, it is the worst feeling being Nausious all day and not wanting to look at an ounce of food. I took the Unisome and B6 with Burklie and it did wonders, then I took it with this pregnancy and it did not touch it. It made me so tired I could barely function. The dr. then put me on Zofran, I was at least able to eat with that. I also bought those accupressure bracelts and I really think those helped. I was trying so many things so who knows what really helped or not. Hope you feel better!

Ohh, I also drank real ginger ale (the strong stuff) you usually get in organic or health store. The ginger and carbonation seemed to calm my belly a bit!

Hey Congratulations guys! Nothing seemed to work for me other than staying busy and getting out of my house...I have no idea why that made me stop throwing up! BUt I will say that I was so much sicker with Cali than with the boys...don't know if it is a first pregnancy thing or a girl thing... Anyway, congrats.

I am a little slow on checking out the blog, so congrats. That's awesome!! I can't help with the nausea, I never really got sick with either pregnancy. Good luck!! I hope it's a girl!
