Our Sunday Adventure

We had to meet my aunt in Salt Lake on Sunday, so my mom and I took the boys for a little sight seeing!

Our first stop... The Temple
Enjoying the temple grounds!
Maybe a little too much

The flowers are always so pretty!

CHEESE!

The Second Stop... (don't freak out) EAST HIGH!

The clock!

The cafeteria

And the front (for those of you who care!)

Our LAST Stop... The Cemetery

I have always wanted to go here. It was the biggest cemetery I have ever seen. There were so many head stone, and so many old head stones. You will see by a few pictures

President Hinkley's grave site
David O. McKay
Joseph F. Smith
Spencer W. Kimball
Wilford W. Woodruff
This was a really neat experience, I suggest it to everyone. It is left off of s. Temple on 9th East on the corner of 4th Ave. and N street.
Click here for a map of a few people that are buried there.
I took this out the window at a stop light, I just wish the stop light wasn't in it!

4th of July fun!

We had a very low-key 4th. Kirby had to drive truck that day, so he got up early and drove so he could be back by 2:00 for the races. Ky was a little speed racer. I He won in his age group and was thrilled. Davis did awesome, they were all such great runners in his group, but at least we kept the winning in the family with his cousin Ryland taking 1st. After the races, we went over to a little carnival they had and the boys used up their 25 tickets fast! Later that evening we had a cook out with our friends and didn't even see any fireworks. It sometimes just isn't worth the 45 min drive.

Kyron racing

Here he is with his $ and candy!

Davis blazing a trail!

His cousin Broc!

One of the slide they did many times!

This is the water slide they had set up, the had a blast on this one!
You can tell which one is more crazy!

Fun at the Farm

We had a great time at the farm the other day. We headed down there the night before they cut the oats, so that we could measure how tall they were. I figured that it was a great opportunity to take a few pictures.
He kept tripping and falling down in them.

I am not sure what they are doing, but it seems interesting huh!

Davis Age 4

Ky almost 3

Are they not the cutest little turds!
Getting higher!

Catching grasshoppers!

I am helping them find lady bugs, that is the only bug I will touch!

My brave little Davis, "bugs ewe sick" (for those of you that remember him saying that)

The tall oats, I made him stop, because he completly disappeared the farther out he got.

A funny moment

When we were hanging out at the pool in Arizona, I was putting sunscreen on my face. I was being funny and put a little too much sunscreen on my face. I was rubbing it in and I thought that I had rubbed it all in and my sister looked at me and about died laughing. I didn't even realize that I had this huge glob of sunscreen by my eye. I thought that she was laughing, because I had a really white face from spreading it around. Little did I know!

BFF Tag

Calling all BFF's...............I got this idea from Karisti's and I thought it was really fun. This is how you play...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

All those people that really know me {speak up}...now is not the time for blurking.
