A week on the beach... I recommend!

My brother reported his mission on Sunday the 10th and after everyone came and left after his homecoming, we all piled into the 2 cars and headed for my house.
Day 1:
After a brief sleep of 4 hours for me we loaded up and headed for CA!!! My parents got us 2 condos on the beach for a week, and can I say that I highly recommend this!!! I forgot to take pictures of them, take my word they were awesome! We all headed to the beach about 10 mins after we got there. So much fun!

Silhouette pictures at sunset, we have been doing this since I was little.

Day 2: LEGOland

I think this is so much fun if your kids are between 36" and 50" because there are roller coasters and driving classes, 4D movies. My kids had a blast
Fun times at LEGOland
Davis and I on the roller coaster, this was the only one that Ky couldn't ride. Luckily he was passed out in the stroller.
Vegas made out of Legos, this is unbelievable, the had all these mini places made out of Legos. My battery on the camera died before I got a picture of the NYC skyline!

Day 3: Knottsberry Farm / Aquarium, Beach, Wii
On Wednesday, All the big kids went to Knottsberry farm, and my parents watched my kids! Thanks! We had so much fun, we all laughed so hard all day, were daring (Jake and I) and rode every GOOD ride 3-4 times. There were no lines. Seriously it was awesome. While we were there, My parents took my kids to the aquarium that is connected to Lego land. They had a lot of fun, then the swam, and Davis Mastered the Wii, and is a great at bowling and Mario Kart! (definitely got that from my genes!) It was a really fun day for everyone!

Day4: Beach, San Diego Temple Session
This day was a lot of fun, my cousins endowment session was at 4:30 so we all went to the beach for a couple hours int he morning. Then we divided up and went and shopped the boardwalk and farmers markets. Then it was off to the Temple. Can I just say that the San Diego temple is awesome, inside and out. The workers were awesome, after the session we went up the stairs out of the Celestial room that lead us to an atrium that was on top of the temple roof. Those of you that have seen the Bountiful temples atrium know what I am talking about, but this was up on top. It was so amazing, and beautiful! After the session we all went to a restaurant for the wedding dinner, and then the girls separated and went to help my aunts finish decorating.

Day 5: The Wedding Day
My cousins wedding was in the morning so we went to the wedding and then did pictures after and then we went to eat, then the condo's to change, then to the reception. It looked so cute, my aunt did a really good job. My cousin wanted a rustic theme, but it also had some elegance to it. There was a perfect balance of both it was really pretty, and the best part was that they served Costa Vida Salads for their dinner YUMMO! After the reception we headed back to the condos for a last minutes dip in the pool/hot tubs then off to bed!
Day 6: Go HOME :(
Tears filled the condo when I explained to my boys that we were leaving today! They wanted to stay longer. I would have loved one more day there too. I wanted to have one more beach day just to unwind from the wedding and really relax! Oh well, I loved every minute of it and I want to save my money to go every year!!!

I am still alive...

I am still here, I went on vacation and while I was up north my nice husband checked off his honey-do list by moving my computer downstairs, but we didn't have a Internet cord and all the pics were on my computer. He is here...

Well, it is official, we now have a very strange RM for a brother!
JUST KIDDING.
He actually is really pretty normal. I mean he has his moments where he sat in the corner, and we would find him wondering the yard by himself, otherwise he has been really normal! He was pretty funny, the reason he was wondering was because he was noticing all the little things that he had forgotten. We are all really excited that he is home and all the girls already made him do a marathon shopping spree!
At the Airport on Wednesday!

Seeing the dog, house, and eating when we got home!

At 8:00 that night we went swimming, and so he jumped in in his suit, because it had a hole in the butt and his fly wouldn't stay up anymore, so I think that it was a good end to the 2 years!

He is on his way...

We pick him up at the airport at 2:00! I am soooo excited. My dad got his truck out of the shed, and got it running and washed. So hopefully it will pass inspection this morning! I will post more pictures of the airport later!

2 Years Already???

I can hardly believe that my brother has been gone for 2 years already. I guess when you see him twice it helps the time go by faster. Yea I know, save your lectures, but the 2nd time was not on purpose! His very long flight from Arizona..(about 40 mins) will be arriving at 1:30-ish on Wednesday. I am so excited I can hardly believe. It will be so nice to have him around again. My parents dog Jack probably hasn't missed the tormenting, but I think he will remember Jake. And my kids are so excited. I am just excited to set him up with a bunch of cute girls...well just one. So I will hide her until he de-wierds!
Anyways, We will see ya in 2 days Jake!

Birthday Surprises!

Alright, already old farts, my hottie boyfriend is turning the big 3-0. It isn't until October, but I know it will be here before I know it. I need some awesome ideas. We live in a small town, so everyone knows him, so I need some ways to embarrass, and then a awesome gift. If anyone has any great ideas please let me know!
Look how little we were 20 and 23
How hot are these boys, Woo Hoo, Kirby , Ben, and Eric

RODE-O

As many of you might be thinking, Morgan and Wranglers, just don't go together. Well, you are right, I held strong with the flip flops. I actually don't think that I watched one event during to 2 days I went. It was pretty much a social thing for my kids and I. Kirby was right smack in the middle of 2nd crop, so I figured what is more fun for kids than chasing chickens, and playing with glow sticks in ankle deep dirt/manure! THEY LOVED IT!
Davis was pretty close!

They took of from the very beginning!
They are so brave :)

This is after they stopped crying, because they didn't catch a chicken! (thank heavens)

I would run too if I saw this coming at me!

Cooper and Kyron were so close to this one!

But they tried to go over the fence instead of climbing through!

Later that night we took Jed a Rodeo hot dog at the farm, cause he was hauling hay for the sleeping farmers. Anyways, I had a flash back to my risky college days! (LynDee, Karrie, Amanda, Shanae you'll remember this) I open the glow sticks that the boys still had and threw them all over the ground, hay, and them and let them run around in the field! They loved this so since then we have done this 2 more times. We went to the farm and spread it all over the hay before the put it in the barn. We did this the night before Julie left for the summer, and I think that it will definitely become a tradition. I am trying to talk Kirby into setting something up for Halloween. Anyways we had a lot of fun during the week of the 24th!
